I have divided all geographical names listed in the jarlyks into two broad groups: undisputed names, discussed above, and little-known / unknown titles, which it’s time to get busy.
Well-known names are located between the Black Sea coast in the south and Veliky Novgorod in the north (1,300 km), between Volodymyr in the west and Ryazan in the east (1,100 km). These points form a rectangle with an area of 680,000 square km on the map of Eastern Europe. km, stretched from the southwest to the northeast. If we add Podillja in the west and Oskol in the east to this rectangle, then such a hexagon has an area of about 800,000 square km.
A priori, one can think only about the placement of little-known objects inside the outlined polygon.
