A single Greek document, which is stored in Rome, in the Vatican Library (collection of Greek manuscripts, No. 840), provides a great deal of support for the credibility of the PVK.

The existence and activity of the bishops Athanasius, Theodor and Mark at the right time is confirmed by several records about their participation in the appointment of new bishops and the distribution of their capitals also coincides with the PKK.

The coincidence of the dates and names of the participants in the event mutually reinforces the credibility of both the PVK and the Greek protocol records.
