Zabila kin

Nicholas Zharkikh

Zabila – Ukrainian Cossack family, documentary known since 1649, and with the same time constant associated with the town Borzna (now – the regional center of Chernigov region).

Genealogy this kin generally traced V. Modzalevsky (1910).

Father of the poet – Nikolai Karpovich Zabila (ca. 1766 – 1810..1816) – titular councilor, magistrate in Borzna. His mother – Nadezhda (? – ?) – daughter of Borzna centurion Nicholas Ryba.
