A fairly large group of people in the PS is characterized by the terms of their official position. There are servants of the Grand Duke of Lithuania, the Grand Duke of Moscow and private individuals. On this material, we can not decide whether the public and private service at that time differed, or (I think, rather) the service to the Grand Duke was a service to the person, and not to the abstract notion of the state.
