There were in the list in 2001 – 60 places.
Excluded from the list – 8 sites.
Added to the list – 98 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 150 places.
Updating percentage = 176%
These sites have collected 180 penalty points, giving an average of 1.2 points for a site.
Detailed item-by-item analysis available in ukrainian version.
The ideological orientation of the Kyiv list is determined by the exclusion Monument of Independence and inclusion grave of communist Gauleiter V. Shcherbytsky. Thus, the overall slogan – "Down independence!"
Also noteworthy is that now neither Kiev Sofia, nor Kiev-Pechersk Lavra is no longer a monument of national importance. Our state has done everything necessary to exclude these sites from the World Heritage List in which they are now.
In short, the Kyiv swines went to parade of monuments under the slogan: "Neither Anthony, no Theodosius!"
Sevastopol: neither Balaklava, nor Inkerman…
There were in the list in 2001 – 20 places.
Excluded from the list – 1 place.
Added to the list – 0 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 19 places.
Updating percentage = 5%
These sites collected 34 penalty points, giving an average of 1.9 points for a site.
It is believed that Sevastopol habitants love Russia and everything Russian. I do not know what is the base of such opinion. If they really love something though, they will not exclude from the register Admiralty Vladimir Cathedral – a monument of military glory of the Russian Empire.
Republic of Crimea: neither Stepan Rudansky,
nor Ismael Gasprinsky…
There were in the list in 2001 – 40 places.
Excluded from the list – 12 places.
Added to the list – 9 sites.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 37 places.
Updating percentage = 52.5%
These sites collected 87 penalty points, giving an average of 2.35 points for a site.
Crimean list makes depressing experience. Have autonomy, to live better than the rest of the land – is a clear and good, but have the autonomy to live worse – it is something inconceivable, favorable for pigs only. Among the crimean heritage we don't see the most attractive sights and objects that have form the image of Crimea:
Fortress Funa (in the list) can not replace the Sudak fortress (not listed);
Theatre in Evpatoria can not substitute Bakhchisarai Palace;
Syuren fortress can not replace Mangup;
Tomb of S.M. Sergeyev-Tsensky can not substitute for the unique ensemble of Old Crimea;
Mythical "ancient Rus settlement of town Korchev" can not fully replace the real settlement Chufut-Calais;
Kerch fortress can not replace the Eski-Kermen.
Do Crimean swines preservation officials does not know about these objects? They know even better than we! But thoughts they do not guard these treasures, but something beastly.
Vinnycja region: neither Vasyl Stus nor Paul Pestel…
There were in the list in 2001 – 23 places.
Excluded from the list – 3 places.
Added to the list – 9 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 29 places.
Updating percentage = 52 %
These sites collected 34 penalty points, an average of 1.17 penalty points for a site.
With some caution we can say that a register of Vinnytsia region improved in comparison with 2001. But…
Of course, we does not see in this area Vasyl Stus – because he was a Ukrainian, and also a nationalist; and not see Paul Pestel with his Southern society – because he was Russian, and even revolutionary; and not see Bohdan Khmelnytsky and his brilliant victory at Batoh – because he was Ukrainian; and not see Alexander Suvorov with his miracle-warriors – because he was Russian. And none of them was not a pig, so our pigs don't care memory of them…
Volyn region: neither Volodymyr Vasylkovych
nor Liubartas Gedymynovych…
There were in the list in 2001 – 26 places.
Excluded from the list – 5 places.
Added to the list – 2 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 23 places.
Updating percentage = 27 %
These sites collected 37 penalty points, an average of 1.6 penalty points for a site.
The disadvantage of Volyn list is complete lack of history:
- No mention of Prince Vladimir Vasylkovych (probably because he was of Rurikovich);
- also no mention of Prince Liubartas (probably because he was Gedyminovych);
- No mention of Prince Andrew Kurbsky (probably because he was Muscovite);
- No mention of Daniel Bratkovsky (probably because he was Ukrainian, and also a nobleman);
- No mention of the largest in the history of Ukrainian Insurgent Army fighting the Germans in Stary Zahoriv (they fought the German occupiers, but probably not something on the side)…
Dnipropetrovsk region: but we don't make space ships…
There were in the list in 2001 – 24 places.
Excluded from the list – 1 places.
Added to the list – 0 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 23 places.
Updating percentage = 4 %
These sites collected 31 penalty points, an average of 1.35 penalty points for a site.
From historical figures only Dmitri Yavornitsky included to the Dnipropetrovsk list, which involves as many as three sites with 23. Instead, we does not see the list such important figures of Ukraine as a historians Dmytro Doroshenko and Jacob Novitsky, as writers Andrian Kashchenko Oles Gonchar. Ukrainian revolutionary leader Isaac Mazepa is out of list also.
Dnipropetrovsk region is one of the most important industrial regions of Ukraine. It is strange, that such objects as Dnipropetrovsk missile plant Pivdenmash, or uranium mines in Zhovti Vody, or a unique city, named after the chemical element – Marganec, or Kryvyj Rig iron ore plants, or the world's largest blast furnace in the same Kryvyj Rig are not considered as heritage.
None of these characteristics of our industrial power is not considered nor historical, nor the industrial heritage. Apparently, there was no instructions to be proud of the industry.
Donetsk region: neither John Hughes nor Makar Mazaj…
There were in the list in 2001 – 15 places.
Excluded from the list – 3 places.
Added to the list – 1 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 13 places.
Updating percentage = 38.5%
These sites collected 30 penalty points, an average of 2.31 penalty points for a site.
List of historical figures related to the Donetsk region, looks rather sad. There is present communist holy Artem, but there is no John Hughes – the creator of Donetsk industry; stakhanovka Pasha Angelina is present, but well known stakhanovites Makar Mazaj is absent; a famous Russian theatrical man V.I.Nemyrovych-Danchenko is included, but composer Sergei Prokofiev – is not (though he is also a Russian, hence the "national question" everything would be okay). There are no names of the famous singer Anatoly Solovyanenko, fighters for independence of Ukraine Mykola and Nikita Shapoval, human rights activist Oleksa Tychyj, artist Arkhip Kuindzhi. And all those names fame of the Donetsk region.
Donetsk region – the most important industrial region of Ukraine. But there are no sights of our industrial power and technical skill, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk region…
Zhytomyr region: neither Sergey Korolev
nor Honore de Balzac…
There were in the list in 2001 – 17 places.
Excluded from the list – 1 places.
Added to the list – 0 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 16 places.
Updating percentage = 6 %
These sites collected 16 penalty points, an average of 1 penalty points for a site.
In the heritage list of Zhytomyr region we does not see Ukrainian archaeologist and one of the leaders of OUN – Oleg Ol'zhych. If he seems unsuitable as a Ukrainian nationalist, but why compilers of the list skip Soviet missile designer Sergei Korolev – he is 100% Soviet? Glorious pianist Sviatoslav Richter is not listed – perhaps because he is German, and renowned composer Boris Liatoshynsky – probably because he was Ukrainian; writer Honore de Balzac's throw away from the list – perhaps because he is French, and writer Vladimir Korolenko – probably because he was a Russian…
No mention of the tragic winter march of UPR army and the battle near village Bazar (1921) – perhaps these fighters are "not our" for the list compilers, but there is not even a mention of the heroic defense of the Korosten fortified area against the Nazis offensive in 1941 – perhaps, these fighters are "not our" for the list compilers as well…
Zakarpattja region: neither Ilona Zrinyi
nor Alexander Dukhnovych…
There were in the list in 2001 – 13 places.
Excluded from the list – 0 places.
Added to the list – 2 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 15 places.
Updating percentage = 15 %
These sites collected 22 penalty points, an average of 1.47 penalty points for a site.
In Transcarpathia we does not see monuments of Hungarian related to our region. Neither Arpad nor allies of Bogdan Khmelnitsky – Princes Rakoczi or Ilona Zrinyi… not even a famous painter Mikhaj Munkachi.
However we will not see on this region Ukrainian monuments: no memory of opryshok Ivan Pyntya, writers Michael Andrella and Alexander Dukhnovich, the leader of the Carpathian Ukraine Augustin Voloshin…
Zaporozhye region: neither Nestor Makhno
nor Dmytro Dontsov…
There were in the list in 2001 – 14 places.
Excluded from the list – 3 places.
Added to the list – 1 place.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 12 places.
Updating percentage = 28.5%
These sites collected 13 penalty points, an average of 1.08 penalty points for a site.
In the Zaporozhye region we does not see sites associated with leaders of the Ukrainian liberation movement – Dmytro Dontsov, Nestor Makhno, Peter Grigorenko. Twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Colonel General V. Petrov omitted from the list as well.
What has been asking for such "trifles" like a castle of Prince Dmitry Vishnevetsky on Khortitsa on whether there DneproGES. Zaporozhian swines does not interesting in all this. Zaporozhian swines now build monuments chief swineherd of the USSR – Stalin.
Ivano-Frankivsk region: neither Jaroslav Osmomysl
nor Stepan Bandera…
There were in the list in 2001 – 14 places.
Excluded from the list – 0 places.
Added to the list – 3 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 17 places.
Updating percentage = 21%
These sites collected 19 penalty points, an average of 1.12 penalty points for a site.
It is believed though Galicians are greater Ukrainian patriots than residents of other regions. I do not know why it is based on – the list of historical monuments of the region shows the same indifference to our past as elsewhere.
No mention here of the Galician princes. No Volodymyrko Volodarevych nor his son Yaroslav (Osmomysl), nor glorious Roman the Great or his son Daniel did not make it to the registry. Contemporary pigs do not care about their reputation.
What has been asking pigs – where are Stepan Bandera memorials. And he probably does have merits to Ukraine…
Kyiv region: neither Borys nor Glib,
neither Palij nor Samus…
There were in the list in 2001 – 24 places.
Excluded from the list – 3 places.
Added to the list – 8 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 29 places.
Updating percentage = 46%
These sites collected 33 penalty points, an average of 1.14 penalty points for a site.
In Kyiv region – the heart of Kievan Rus – not marked the place of death of Prince Boris (in Boryspil), nor the memorial of the holy princes-martyrs Boris and Gleb (in Vyshgorod), nor Bilgorod with its glorious kysil – all of them like on some other planet, and not on our Kyiv region, governed with pigs.
In Kyiv region – the heart of the Ukrainian Cossacks – not marked a place of Cossack councils in Maslov Stav, neither regiment cities of Cossacks of Ukraine (Bila Tserkva, Pereyaslav, Bohuslav), nor heroic defense of Stavishche or wrestling Semen Paliy…
Kiev gave Heroes of the Soviet Union, participants of war against the Nazis – tankman Nicephorus Sholudenko, scout Ivan Kudrja, pilot Michael Bondarenko (the latter – even twice Hero). They are not interesting for contemporary pigs…
In the Kiev region situated a unique industrial enterprise as Kiev hydroelectric station with pumped storage hydroelectric unit. There is also situated the world-known (no exaggeration here already!) Chernobyl nuclear power station – and they, according to the pigs, not deserve our memory…
Kirovograd region: neither Volodymyr Vynnychenko
nor Dmytro Chyzhevsky…
There were in the list in 2001 – 16 places.
Excluded from the list – 14 places.
Added to the list – 3 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 5 places.
Updating percentage = 106%
These sites collected 2 penalty points, an average of 0.2 penalty points for a site.
Example of Kirovograd region shows the most efficient (from the swines point of view, hence, the most beastly) method of monuments accounting: have a monument – have a problem, no monuments – no problems. The less monuments will be registered, the swines will be less hassle with them.
This approach not blame falls, that is not listed sights of ukrainians: writer and revolutionary Vladimir Vinnichenko, playwright and theater activist Mark Kropivnitsky, writer Yuri Yanovsky, philosopher Dmytro Chyzhevsky. One could not find the space for pianist Heinrich Neuhaus and writer Yuri Olesha, although they are not Ukrainian…
Lugansk region: neither Volodymyr Sosjura
nor Klym Voroshylov…
There were in the list in 2001 – 17 places.
Excluded from the list – 9 places.
Added to the list – 2 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 10 places.
Updating percentage = 65%
These sites collected 14 penalty points, an average of 1.4 penalty points for a site.
There are not listed Ukrainians: businessman Alex Alchevsky, poet Vladimir Sosjura.
However, there are no Soviet "holy" – Marshal Klym Voroshylov, the Hero of Socialist Labour Alexei Stakhanov.
Do not mention the famous compatriot, the Russian writer Vsevolod Garshin. Do not mention the sad glory Starobelsky concentration camp, where in 1940 the Russian Bolsheviks were shot captured Polish officers…
Lviv region: neither Stanisław Żółkiewski
nor Mikhail Hrushevsky…
There were in the list in 2001 – 28 places.
Excluded from the list – 5 places.
Added to the list – 6 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 29 places.
Updating percentage = 39%
These sites collected 18 penalty points, an average of 0.62 penalty points for a site.
From the new list removed most descriptive and attractive places – historical center of Lviv (which, incidentally, is in the list of World Heritage, but not Ukrainian!), ensembles of Olesko and Zolochiv castles and architectural reserves in Belz and Zhovkva. The state is not doing them anymore. Period.
In the new list no mention of such events as the siege of the Lviv by troops of B.Khmelnytsky (1648, 1655), Gorodok battle in 1655, the November revolution 1918 work that established Western Ukrainian People's Republic. Therefore, these events aren't of national importance?
In the new list, no mention of Rus' Trinity of 1840's, the Supreme Ruthenian Council in 1848, M.Hrushevsky, Shevchenko Scientific Society, Metropolitan Andrew Shepticky, UPA commander Roman Shukhevych. So all these people have no value for the nation?
Mykolayiv region: neither Vasyl Bidnov
nor Oles Berdnyk…
There were in the list in 2001 – 29 places.
Excluded from the list – 3 places.
Added to the list – 4 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 30 places.
Updating percentage = 24%
These sites collected 41 penalty points, an average of 1.37 penalty points for a site.
Mykolayiv region is poor in historical events and famous figures given, but there can be pointed the lack of memory Ochakiv fortress – the subject of fierce Ukrainian-Russian-Turkish struggle, the Russian Admiral S.O.Makarov, Ukrainian historian and politician Basil Bidnov, Ukrainian writer and human rights activist Oles Berdnyk…
Odesa region: neither Ioann of Suchava
nor Anna Akhmatova…
There were in the list in 2001 – 20 places.

Added to the list – 5 places.
Reported in the list in 2009 – 24 places.
Updating percentage = 30%
These sites collected 28 penalty points, an average of 1.17 penalty points for a site.
One say that Odessa – a city-hero, glorified by defense against invasion of the Nazis in 1941. Maybe, it is true, but the list of monuments is not reflect this event.
One say that famous Russian poetess Anna Akhmatova was born in Odessa … You say this to me? .. And Isaac Babel, Edward Bagrycky, Vera Inber, Vladimir (Zeyev) Zhabotinsky, David Oistrakh…
Poltava region: neither Basil Kochubey
nor Simon Petliura…
There were in the list in 2001 – 26 places.

In Gadjach were born Michael Dragomanov and his sister – Olena Pchilka, repeatedly stayed Lesja Ukrainka… But we, pigs, beastly on our pig-board decided: because they struggle for an independent Ukraine, not to consider their figures as national importance.
But Vasily Kochubey lived in Poltava, who fought against Mazepa and independence of Ukraine… For us, pigs, it is not a figure of national importance…
Simon Petliura, who fought for the independence of Ukraine; Mikhail Ostrogradsky – mathematician who shared the honor with Carl Gauss, and Oles Gonchar, which glorified our literature… And for us, pigs, all they – anyway…
Rivne region: neither prince Ostrozhsky
nor Ulas Samchuk…

In the old Ostrog each stone remembers Ostrog princes, as well as in Korec – princes Korecky. Derman monastery remember our printing pioneer – Ivan Fedorov and our writer – Meletij Smotrytsky. Near the village Pliasheva lies field of the Berestechko battle 1651. Near the village Hurby was the biggest fight of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army against the Soviet invaders (1944). In Rivne lived and worked our famous writer Ulas Samchuk.
All these for our pigs – sufficient reason NOT to incorporate these sights in the state list.
Sumy region: neither Alexander Bezborodko
nor Panteleimon Kulish…
There were in the list in 2001 – 22 places.
Excluded from the list – 2 places.

Sumy region so rich in talents that even the neighbors supplied them: let us remember Alexander Bezborodko who had served in St. Petersburg to the Chancellor of the Russian Empire, or Paul Rybalko, famous tank commander twice Hero of the Soviet Union, who had been promoted to field marshal in Moskow.
According Sumy pigs, none of these figures are not the figures of national importance.
Ternopil region: neither Iov Zalizo nor Klym Savur…

These sites collected 4 penalty points, an average of 0.8 penalty points for a site.
Ternopil region – a place of the famous battles by Bogdan Khmelnitsky at Zboriv (1649) and at Ozerna (1655). In the district Antonivtsy – Hurby occurred biggest fight of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army against soviet occupants (1944). This is essential grounds NOT to include them in the list of monuments of national importance.
Ternopil region – birthplace of the Polish poet Juliusz Slowacky, our glorious scientists Volodymyr Hnatiuk and Ivan Puljuj, singer Salome Krushelnytska, one of the leaders of OUN Yaroslav Stetsko, the Ukrainian Insurgent Army colonel Dmitry Klyachkivsky (Klym Savur). Well, when they really are outstanding – we will NOT include them in our list…

In a direct sense – the region give a brilliant bunch of eminent persons: artist Ilya Repin, biologist Ilya Mechnikov, physicists brothers Eugene and Ilya Lifshitz, writers Gnat Khotkevych, Gregory Danilevsky, O. Slisarenko.
In a figurative sense – none of these prominent figures not included in the list. For us (pigs), they do not interests.

There were not the most significant events in our history in the Kherson region, but here it is worth noting that the registry does not contain no Kyzy-Kermen (Berislav) – a place of glorious victory of B.P. Sheremetiev and I. Mazepa over the Turks, nor Askania Nova – nature reserve and culture place, famous far outside Ukraine (but not in the Ukraine!).

Cherkasy region – the heart of Ukraine, where literally every town and every village marked in our history. Here is a wide field for pigs: there are lot of places to expell from the list of national monuments.
There are not listed our famous writers Michael Staritsky and Todos Osmachka, public figures Sergey Podolynsky and Vyacheslav Chornovil, sculptor Ivan Gonchar and artist John Jizhakevych.
In Gorodysche born two outstanding representatives of genus Gulak-Artemovsky: poet Peter and singer Semen. Well, if it so happens, we exclude both of them…
But why one worry about the Cossack hetman Samiylo Kishka, if even Taras Shevchenko excluded from the list! Exactly so, you (we, pigs – choose nesessary) make a mistake: birthplace of Taras Shevchenko still was listed in the Registry 2001 as monument of national importance, but in 2009 it no longer satisfies the "high requirements"…
Chernivtsi region: neither Lukian Kobylytsja
nor Petro Bolbochan…
