St.Nicholas Church in Khamovniki

The church was built in the reign of Fedor Alekseevich (in 1679 – 1682), in the period of greatest Ukrainian impact on Russian architecture. But in this church we do not see any Ukrainian influence. This is truly the Moscow building with low apses (on photo, they turned directly to us), cubic main volume and five deaf domes, which placed on tiers of arches.
The structure is very similar to the Trinity church in Nikitniky, but decorated with restrained.
