New about Vvedensky synodikon

I finish publishing the monograph «Vvedensky synodikon» (2018). Today – the section «Conclusions».

The general composition of the historical part suggests that VS was conceived as a broad overview of the Orthodox society of the entire Kyiv Metropolitanate in its ancient boundaries.

The fund of male monastic names was enriched by names from the Old Testament (Varahia, Izmail, Joel, Josiah, Manasseh) and little-known names from the early Christian age.
